Scientifically Informed Solidarity: Changing Anti-Immigrant Prejudice about Universal Access to Health

Currently, anti-immigrant sentiment has emerged again in European countries, as witnessed, for example, by the rise of xenophobic parties many member states. This is a prejudice that not new but intensifies certain circumstances, such economic crisis. change attitudes towards immigration an impact on preferences citizens regarding universal access to public resources and rights. The results this article come from analysis variables Transnational Solidarity Survey (TESS) conducted during 2016 13 countries Union. Specifically, two packages are analysed degree solidarity relation health services immigrants before after receiving scientific information about collective benefits provision entire population, including undocumented immigrants. While there much literature analyses how literacy education issues improves situation vulnerable groups, few studies have knowledge helps modify prejudices discriminatory general thus contributing improvement population.
